Bill Starbuck | Event Coordinator

Bill Starbuck has been a part of the Along Came Mary team for the past 23 years.  Most recently, Bill was the Corporate Executive Chef for Lucky Strike Lanes, where the Los Angeles Times described his menu as a “menu that speaks to the inner child.”

Once the VP of Catering and Executive Chef, Bill now returns to Along Came Marybill-1 as an Event Coordinator and looks forward to applying his talents to the front of house.  His skills at organizing and executing everything, from formal sit-down dinners for 3,000 guests to creating a thematic buffet and food station party for as many as 20,000 is unrivaled in the industry.

Bill’s inspiration for many of his menus originates from his Vermont upbringing where he grew up on garden fresh ingredients.  In his spare time, he enjoys travelling the world and cooking for friends.

Billy’s Praise…

“I need a new vocabulary because I’m running out of superlatives.  How can I thank you for how you make every event spectacular?  Easter dinner was amazing. The food, the service … Every aspect was perfection!  Your staff are like family and knows exactly what I like and always work so hard to please everyone. Billy’s lamb just right was what I’ve come to expect. It was exactly the way I love it!  Everyone raved about the food!  We have a winner with that menu. After all these years (at least 25) we work together with a minimum of contact and a maximum of trust. That’s something money cannot buy!”

– Long-time Private Client (Family Easter Celebration)
“The food last night was BEAUTIFUL and really made the event special. I talked to so many folks who said it was the best catering they’ve had at an event. Thank you so much for your involvement and all the staff working were AMAZING. They were so professional, friendly and quick. All around, just a really wonderful experience for us. We couldn’t have been more pleased.”
